Dr. Michael Li Joins Pascal Metrics
Veteran data scientist to lead Pascal’s advanced analytics team
WASHINGTON, DC – January 23, 2012. Pascal Metrics is pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Li has joined Pascal Metrics as Vice President of Applied Science. Dr. Li will be responsible for expanding Pascal’s advanced analytics and predictive modeling capabilities and services.

Michael’s leadership will keep Pascal on the forefront of the quest to predict harm systematically and to intervene before it happens.”
Bringing 17 years of experience in data analytics, management and marketing consulting, Dr. Li previously built two analytic consulting practices at ImpactRx and IMS Health, respectively. At ImpactRx, he built and led an analytics group that specialized in econometric modeling, data mining, R&D and analytic consulting services. He has developed more than a dozen of new advanced analytic processes and service offerings that effectively leveraged different data assets. Overall, Dr. Li has consulted for many major pharmaceutical, biotech, and other large service companies with significant data assets. He is a statistical methodologist specializing in data mining, statistical method and analytic process design, consulting project management and execution, data strategy and unlocking value in “Big Data.”

Dr. Li is a frequent speaker at American Marketing Association Advanced Research Techniques Forum (AMA ART Forum), Pharmaceutical Management Science Association (PMSA) and Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group (PMRG). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in MIS and Applied Mathematics from Tsinghua University in P. R. China, a MA and PhD in Economics and Econometrics from University of Rochester.
